We pick up our bikes at the service point in Prague 6, just a few steps from the entry to the Divoká Šárka nature reserve, the oldest one in Prague (since 1964). From here, we drive through the gorge along a creek meandering eastward towards the Moldau river.
The gorge is named after a legendary female warrior Šárka from Czech mythology. The scenery sometimes reminds the gorges of southern France, Spain or the Southwest of the US. The tour takes us through the Šarka valley to the town of Roztoky north of Prague, from there through the “Silent Valley” (tiché údolí) to the village of Únětice with its famous brewery, where we stop for a drink and some typical dish before heading back to Prague again.

Customers’ reactions
“Great bikes very well maintained. We did go to little Hanoi and done the route on the Vltava river bank. George is great and very informative. Best rental experience ever.”
Marko Starčević, Belgrade (July 2020)
“Awesome experience! George was very friendly and went out of his way to be helpful. Speaks excellent English and is willing to share his knowledge of the city. It’s a small operation so if possible make a reservation ahead of time. Would recommend any time!”
Theodore Reinhart, Ohio (June 2019)
“Very easy-going and friendly dudes, good bikes and on top of it all they’re way cheaper than the competition. If I could give six stars, I would give seven!”
Karel Smit, Netherlands (Mai 2018)
“Alles prima! Guter Service, netter Kontakt, sehr toller Preis – absolut empfehlenswert. Einfach vorab Kontakt aufnehmen (Tel., WhatsApp oder SMS) und Termin vereinbaren. Super!”
Pascal Mathis. Switzerland (April 2018)
“Amazing plan! Georgie helped us a lot discovering those small places in Prague we were interested in. Totally recommended!”
Ignacio Javier Dávola, Argentina, April 2017
“Not the typical bike rental. Bike store clerks are known to be rude and impatient, George is not. With a large array of bikes and a thorough knowledge of Prague George not only gave us very nice bikes for a good price but also some great tips that you won’t find on trip advisor.”
Yan Kirchherr, Germany (June 2017)
“It was the best cycle trip around Czech Republic (august, 2015). Thanks to George and his awesome retro bikes. With all big love from Russia, Yekaterinburg.”
Светлана Куваева, Russia
“My husband and I love exploring cities by bike and Prague by bike was beautiful, safe and being shown around by George made it extra special! He knows so much about the local art and music scene and the city architecture and history.”
Christa Kooperstein, USA
“Highly recommendable! Me and my friend wanted to explore Prague by bike and we luckily found this place to rent the bikes. We took two good quality bikes (one was new) at the best price in Prague. George, the owner, is a nice and friendly person, so in case you need a bike in Prague he’s the best to call.”
