Free Prague bike tour on September 16

On September, 16, there will be a free guided tour through Prague, starting in Sedlec North of the city and ending almost 40km further South, near Vrane nad Vltavou. The event is part of the „Bike for Europe“ cross-border cycling tour, which aims to encourage communities to take action and build networks. The Prague tour will follow the EuroVelo 7/Vltava/Elbe cycle route with representatives of the city’s cycling committee and the public, as part of the opening of the European Mobility Week.

„Bike for Europe“ is a cross-border cycling tour which aims to encourage communities to take action and build networks between refugees, citizens, sport clubs and organisations. Two teams of cyclists from 11 different countries. will cycle across Europe, starting on 1st of September separately from two different countries, the Netherlands and Greece. The tour will finish on 23rd of September in Vienna, Austria, as it will be holding the presidency of the Council of the European Union and kick off the European Week of Sport 2018. September 15, Saturday – arrival to Prague, participation in car-free festival “Experience a different City” www.zazitmestojinak.cz with stage presentation and meeting with cycling groups
