If you rent bikes in Prague to go to Dresden or a place nearby (Pirma, Meißen etc.ú and can’t or prefer not return them personally (e.g. by train) , this is a safe and comfortable solution. Our partners operating a shuttle service along the Elbe bike path will pick up the bikes from you (or a person assigned by you) and bring them back to our service point in Prague.
Taking a bike on the train from Dresden to Prague is possible, too. However, space for bicycles is limited and you need to reserve on time as this is a very popular route during the cycling season. Unfortunately, you can’t book bike transfer tickets for international trains from Germany on-line (via bahn,de or their app), but only at a vending point, typically a railway station in Germany. This makes the bike transfer from Dresden to Prague by train quite complicated, unless you’re traveling solo and have enough time on your hands.
